[left]Statement of the problem:-
This study attempts to investigate the effectiveness of communication out put activities (role plays and discussions) in developing the speaking skill (fluency and accuracy),self confidence and anxiety of first year secondary school students. Specifically, the study seeks answer to the following main question:
What is the effect of communication output on the overall speaking skill of first year secondary school students?
The following sub-questions will also be examined by the present study :
a-What is the effect of role plays on developing speaking skill, self confidence and anxiety of first year secondary school students?
b- What is the effect of discussions on developing speaking skill, self confidence and anxiety of first year secondary school students?
Research Hypotheses
On the bases of the research questions, the study will examine the following hypotheses at the 0.05 significant level:
1) There will be no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the pre-test of the experimental and control groups on the fluency of first year secondary school students?
2) There will be no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the pre-test of the experimental and control groups on the accuracy of first year secondary school students\
The most common types of communication
3) There will be no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the post-test of the experiment and control groups of the lunacy of first year secondary school students.
4) There will be no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the post-test of the experiment and control groups of the accuracy of first year secondary school students
Sample of the study
The sample of the study will include 30 female students of the secondary school in Tanta randomly chosen from an enrolled students and then will be randomly divided into two groups of 15.
